PROJECT MANAGER (SHORING & DEMO) - SOUTH BAY, CA
The construction Project Manager is responsible for being on site and managing luxury residential projects in the South Bay and surrounding areas including: El Segundo, Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Palos Verdes, Marina del Rey, Beverly Hills.
This position is in charge of day-to-day project responsibilities, and MUST have previous shoring and demo PM experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Extensive knowledge of construction including/garnered towards residential projects;
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and other CA processes;
• Manage construction administration of multiple projects through construction closeout;
• Experience with construction documents, budgeting, scheduling, estimating and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors;
• Is able to calmly handle high-pressure situations and able to work well with different teams/contractors
• Management position to manage people and the job
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
•5-7 years of relevant experience as a Project/Construction Manager;
• Detail oriented, attention to detail (in-field expert)
• Thorough understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications;
• Good at multi-tasking (able to manage 2-4 projects at a time)
• Excellent supervision, management and communication (verbal/ written) skills;
• Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, Bluebell, Asana, or any other PM tools;
• Working knowledge of building, fire, and accessibility codes;
• Working knowledge of Building Department permit process
• MUST HAVE: Clean driving license, pass drug tests

• Extensive knowledge of Types I, III, & V construction including/garnered towards mixed-use or residential projects;
• Knowledge of RFIs, submittals, substitution requests, and other CA processes;
• Manage construction administration of multiple projects through construction closeout;
• Experience with construction documents, budgeting, scheduling, estimating and negotiating with subcontractors and vendors;
• Is able to calmly handle high-pressure situations and able to work well with different teams/contractors

ACCOUNTANT (CONSTRUCTION)
The candidate for the Construction Accountant position should have a minimum of 3-5 years of construction accounting experience.

Responsibilities
-Collaborate with project managers and other team members to forecast project costs and ensure financial accountability throughout the project lifecycle
-Manage construction project billing and collections, including preparation and submission of invoices and coordination with project managers to ensure timely payment
-Process loan and construction draws, including reviewing project documentation, verifying expenses, and coordinating with lenders and project managers to ensure timely disbursement of funds
-Prepare accounting entries: accounts payable, journal entries & cash receipts
-Reconcile multiple bank accounts: accounts for international companies
-Reconcile/analyze balance sheet accounts
-Prepare internal financial statements
-Compile & distribute inter-company transactions to subsidiary companies
-Maintain fixed asset database for multiple companies
-Gather financial information from subsidiary companies for monthly/quarterly consolidated reporting
-Assist with compiling tax information for federal & state tax returns
-Coordinate with auditors in annual financial statement audit & audit functions
-Support other areas as needed
Qualifications
-B.S. in Accounting or related discipline- Accountant
-3-5 years of experience with Construction Accounting
-Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S
-Applicant must be knowledgeable in Construction Accounting.
-A strong Development Accounting background is very helpful
-Candidates should be skilled with MS Office, Excel and accounting systems, and be detail-oriented
-CPA license preferred, but not mandatory
-Need: field experience to spearhead process/protocols with GM

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE
The candidate will develop new business in the greater Los Angeles / Beverly Hills area via networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients
Ideal candidates will plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company. Candidate will also have good clientele relationships and previous experience and relationships with designers, architects, and PMs
Experience in hospitality, residential, commercial properties a MUST.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contact potential prospects through cold calls and emails
• Research and build relationships with new clients.
• Set up meetings with client decision makers
• Plan approaches and pitches.
• Work with team to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives. Participate in pricing the solution/service.
• Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
• Support the expansion of existing business
• Management and Research
• Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate.
